· The 31st Annual Stoke Gabriel Wassail. A magical evening of ‘Cider, Culture & Cheer’ organised as a fundraiser by the ‘Friends of Stoke Gabriel School’ (FOSS), the Annual Wassail is a very popular event. Apple Wassailing is a revived, ancient tradition performed in many villages around 'Old Twelfth Night' to bless the cider apples and orchards and encourage a good crop in the coming year. Entertainment will include The Lantern Procession, The South Devon Wassail Singers.
