Brent Singers are always happy to welcome new singers, there’s no audition and no requirement to be able to read music, only to enjoy singing! They rehearse on Thursdays 7.30-9pm at South Brent Village Hall. Marking the centenary of Fauré’s death, Brent Singers, directed by Matthew Searles with David Davies (organ) perform his atmospheric ‘Requiem’ alongside Vaughan Williams’ setting of George Herbert’s 1633 collection of sacred poetry, the ‘Five mystical songs.
