-            The Community Library in the Old School Community Centre has reopened in its brighter, more welcoming facility in the Beacon Room on Mondays (10am-12noon), Wednesdays (2-4pm), Fridays (10am-12noon) and Saturdays (10am-12noon). -            The South Brent Archive is now in in the new library in the Beacon Room in the Old School Community Centre. Plans to open to the public again every other Monday from 2:30-4:30. We are looking for new volunteers, so that we can open more often. If you love local history, like talking to people, and/or are great at detail and enjoy cataloguing (training given) or maybe you are a techie and would like to help us to digitise our collection... we would love to have you on board!” Entry to the Archive is free, but donations are welcome and will be used to buy archival quality storage materials to preserve the collection as well as contribute to the upkeep of the Centre (which is still in need of a new roof!)
