Wild Goose Choir: Is a mixed-voice, folk-based community choir, formed in June 2023 and led by Freya Harbottle (one half of folk duo Harbottle & Jonas). We learn material from across the folk canon, from the very traditional to the contemporary. Wild Goose Choir is now a musical home to 40 members, who each bring a warmth, energy and individuality to sessions and songs. The choir rehearses weekly in on Tuesdays from 7-9pm during term time in the Village Hall. We seek to perform at least twice a year, to share the songs and arrangements that we learn. Open to anyone over 18; no previous choir experience necessary. Wild Goose Choir is on maternity leave (after the birth of the new gosling, Rufus, on 30 August) and will be returning half time from 12th November to 10th December, resuming full time from 7th January 2025
