· ‘Clay Stories’: Handling grief through creativity from 10.30am-5pm in the Church Room, St Petroc’s, South Brent. A collaboration between Nickie Aven and Roger Womack (Clay Conversations, Remembering with Clay), using clay and words, nature and one another, to handle and language our grief. Clay is an extraordinary medium and playing with it can help us bypass the busy mind and reach our more genuine feelings. In this workshop, the interplay between clay and words, hands and heart, can bring us understanding and comfort in a time of grief. If the weather is reasonable, we will also go outside into nature either with clay or our writing pads, as we choose. Please bring a packed lunch; teas and coffees and sweet snacks are provided.
