·            Scything with SSB’s 4Bs (Brent Bees, Bugs and Butterflies) 10am-1pm at Sanderspool Cross roundabout, Exeter Road, South Brent (what three words: ///upholding.relax.daydream). You are invited to come and have a go at scything as we mow the increasingly diverse wildflower area along Exeter Road, near the roundabout and playpark. An opportunity to learn from some experienced scythers. We’ll also be raking the cuttings ready for collection, so please bring a rake and gloves if you can. Or just come for a chat! All welcome but no dogs please, and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable e.g. drinks and snacks.
