Brent Singers invite singers to come and join us in the afternoon to rehearse and explore these pieces and join us for the evening performance. Marking the centenary of Fauré’s death, Brent Singers, directed by Matthew Searles with David Davies (organ) perform his atmospheric ‘Requiem’ alongside Vaughan Williams’ setting of George Herbert’s 1633 collection of sacred poetry, the ‘Five mystical songs. This is a come and sing event – tickets for the come and sing are £20, which includes music and refreshments.
