· Torbay Symphony Orchestra is rehearsing in Ashburton Community Arts Centre; at the end of the day, between 4-5pm, there'll be a public performance of part of the current programme – free entry, collection for donations. Perfect for bringing children to see an orchestra live in the flesh, perhaps for the first time. It'll be easy to come and go if necessary. The June series of concerts by TSO celebrates the summer with some wonderful romantic music.
