A new season of guided bike rides led by Sustrans volunteers in partnership with SSB and PL21 is planned for Spring 2018. Hopefully there will be a ride to suit everyone:

Sunday 25 March 2018: Explore the Dartmoor Way to South Devon Steam Railway at Buckfastleigh.

A choice of 2 starts - from either the Watermark Centre, Ivybridge PL21 0SZ (24 miles) at 10am or the Old School Community Centre South Brent (12 miles) at 10.45am.

We follow the Dartmoor Way along 24 miles of spectacular scenery discovering hidden river valleys, through leafy woodlands and beside wild flower meadows.

The little lanes are overlooked by high moors and remote farms as the ride takes in quiet roads on the National Cycle Network to the South Devon Steam Railway at Buckfastleigh where we stop for refreshments.  The return is on a slightly shorter route.

The total journey will take about 5 hours.
