Food 5.30–6.15pm: Delicious chilli and rice supper [vegetarian option available]; Coffee, tea and cakes. Bar open.
Funniness 6.30-7.30pm: Matt Harvey: Hugely popular and well-loved Totnes based, comic genius, stand-up poet: “Writer, poet, enemy of all that’s difficult and upsetting”.

This event is part of a partnership setup by Lucy Pearce with the Watermark cinema in Ivybridge to host immersive, film based, arts events on Sundays. The intention of these events is fivefold:
- To showcase excellence in the arts – locally and internationally
- To bring together unique and wonderful programmes of events
- To support and utilise a local film / arts venue
- To fulfil on the Arts Council intention, Arts for All, and expand audiences enjoying the arts.
- To build on the credibility of The Writing Lab as a platform for the expansion, enjoyment and furtherance of poetry and literature, stories and dance, across the SW.
