Tori Freestone & Alcyona Mick at 8pm at St Lawrence Chapel Ashburton. Two exceptional musicians, Tori (Tenor Sax) and Alcyona (Piano), formed their Duo in 2015 and have a very spontaneous, interactive approach to playing, following whatever direction the music takes them on the day. The two share a large range of musical influences, not only within the jazz genre but including Brazilian music, English folk, Latin, Arabic, free playing, Monk and more. The duo recorded their debut album in Italy in 2017.
