·                Librarian Theatre presents 'Alice In The Cuckoo’s Nest' at 3 pm and 6 pm in the Old School Community Centre. The already well-regarded Librarian Theatre, part-founded and driven by SBADS’ own Tom Cuthbertson, is making this additional stop in South Brent during their tour of libraries across the UK. The latest production, 'Alice In The Cuckoo’s Nest'. Through clever use of some of the themes and characters in Lewis Carroll’s 'Alice Through The Looking Glass', the play (written by the cast) explores themes of mental health (it is an adult play, however, accompanied children over 8 are very welcome). Seating will be available for the two shows in the Hall and the Aune Room. The production has low level staging, but is also partly 'in the round' amongst the audience. The show lasts approximately one hour with no interval and there will be drinks-for-donations available straight after each of the performances, plus a post-show opportunity to stay on and discuss the play and any issues raised with the cast. If anyone can’t do this date, but is keen to catch it, they are also appearing in Exeter Library at 7:30 on Thursday 25th January. For more information and to buy tickets at £7.50 each, please see the Librarian Theatre website.
