South Brent Refugee Support Network meeting at 7.30pm in the Old School Community Centre at which David Feindouno from Plymouth British Red Cross will give a talk about their work with Refugees and Asylum

Seekers.

 

All welcome. A forum to share ideas and find out more about supporting refugees locally and globally. Open to anyone interested in discussing issues, planning events, fund raising or responding to the current

given to David at this meeting, this is an ongoing collection. Please bear in mind that most, but not all, the asylum-seekers arriving in Plymouth are young, single me

 Main item: toiletries - soap, shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brushes, shower gel etc - and sanitary towels for the women’s boxes, especially appreciated.

Other items: scarves and hats: energy biscuits: nuts: dried fruit: pens/pencils: notebooks: T-shirts (male or female); other age appropriate items that someone might need on arrival

Shoe boxes also welcome to make up the packs
