Brent Island Trust Christmas Stall outside South Brent Stores from 10am – 12md. Brent Island Trust’s Christmas Stall marks a special milestone this year.
"It will be the 25th such event since we started the tradition with a fund-raising event in December 1993, as the campaign to buy The Island was in full swing. We have held one every year since, come wind, rain and freezing weather and it has become one of the Trust’s main ways of promoting our work to the village and an important source of income.
Please do come along and support us this year if you can.
We will have the usual mix of carol singing, tombola and gifts and cake/produce stall.
Town Crier John Gaskin will be in attendance.
Offers of help are welcome, especially with carol singing and in providing cakes and tombola prizes.
Tombola prizes can be left in a special box in the Mare and Foal charity shop, or delivered to our Chairman’s address: Greenfield, Corn Park.
Cakes can be delivered on the morning of the event, or also to our Chairman’s house on the Friday evening."
