Brent Birders present a talk on 'The Natural History of Butterflies and Moths' by Barry Henwood, Devon county moth recorder, at 7.30pm in the Old School Community Centre.

Barry's talk is rich with extraordinary anecdotes and examples of how butterflies and moths life cycles are focused on evading the attentions of predators

Brent Birders are now working on their report The Birds of South Brent Parish, and aiming for a publication date in early 2018.

The report will include not only the results of the 2014?16 parish survey, but also historical information on the birds of the South Brent area.

In the meantime, a 12-page Summary Report has been produced, costing £1.50.

If you haven’t already bought a copy at a Brent Birders indoor meeting or the Wood Fair, copies are on sale at artworks or can be downloaded as a pdf from the website.
