Local Plan for Dartmoor Review: an open meeting with Dartmoor National Park Authority and South Brent Parish Council in the Old School Community Centre at 7.30pm.
The Local Plan is the basis for all planning decisions in the National Park also identifies areas for future housing or employment development.
You are invited to attend to find out about the Local Plan review, the process for identifying potential sites and the options which may be considered in South Brent. DNPA has completed a ‘Call for Sites’ for Land Availability Assessment (LAA) which assesses what land could be developed would now like to start talking about which should be considered in the next Local Plan, identifying enough suitable land to meet local housing and employment needs.
No decisions have yet been made and DNPA encourages you to share your views as early on in the process as possible, although there will be further formal opportunities to comment on a draft Local Plan next year.
