'Cream teas and jazz on a Summer’s afternoon':
A rare opportunity to enjoy 'Yonder Cross', one of South Brent’s beautiful country house gardens, which has kindly been offered Bob and Bobbie Barclay as the setting for a ‘Cream Teas and Jazz’ event in aid of South Brent Village Hall by.
The garden is open from 2.30 to 5pm and visitors will be able to explore the grounds, enjoy cream tea or cake, relax on the lawn to the foot-tapping tones of six-piece ‘Band Friday’ and play games including croquet, with a Treasure Hunt for children.
'Yonder Cross' is at the top of Hillside and there’s plenty of parking available.
For those without transport, lifts are available from the centre of the village if pre-booked by calling Jude on 01364 72458.
Admission is £5 for adults, to include cream tea or tea and cake and £2 for children aged under 16.

A reserve date of Sunday 20th August has been set aside in the event of bad weather on 13th.
