·                Join Sustrans and SSB volunteers on a friendly guided bike ride to meet (and hopefully picnic with) residents at Hannahs School at Ivybridge - a great way to gain confidence in cycling and meet new people in your area.  Meet at 10:00am at the Old School Community Centre in South Brent. We will be cycling seven miles to Ivybridge following National Cycle Route 2 along quiet roads taking in the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the countryside views then return the same way for 1pm. We'll spend time at Hannahs School to meet and engage with their local community. Hannahs at Ivybridge is home to a School, Respite Centre, Community Hub, Children’s Home and Hannahwood – an innovative transition project for older students. Their holistic approach offers professional support from therapists, educationalists, expert medical staff and a care team in a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Rides are open to everyone but you need to be reasonably fit and be prepared for changeable weather. The event must be pre-booked 24 hours beforehand and will be run on another date if there is an adverse weather forecast.
