Guided bike ride to discover the Ridge Road in Devon. Starting in Ivybridge or South Brent, we follow scenic lanes with stunning views looking over South Hams and Dartmoor and passing two iconic nature reserves, Lukesland Gardens and Lady's Wood.

As the hedgerows come alive with wild flowers, we fill find secret river valleys, ancient woodlands and cycle through little villages. We follow National Cycle Network Routes 2, 272 and 28 and other quiet roads to enjoy the countryside. There are two rides to choose from:

Longer ride of 30 miles which will include a lunch stop in a pub (bring your own food). Please allow five hours for this ride. Choice of starts and finish at the same place:

-        Meet for 10am start at The Old School Community Centre, Totnes Road, South Brent, TQ10 9BP

-        Meet for 10.45am start at the Watermark Centre, Leonard's Road, Ivybridge, PL21 0SZ.

Shorter ride of approx 14 miles to Lukesland Gardens via Lady's Wood but not including the ridge road. Please allow two hours for this ride to include a coffee stop.

Meet at the Old School Community Centre, Totnes Road, South Brent, TQ10 9BP at 10am and return to the same point.

The rides are of moderate difficulty with some steep hills. Rides are open to anyone but you need to be reasonably fit and be prepared for changeable weather.
