'The return of the Crane to the Somerset Levels':
This promises to be an exciting talk about a conservation success by Richard Archer, RSPB Conservation Officer for Somerset who participated in the Great Crane Project 2010-2015 which aims to restore healthy
populations of wild common cranes throughout the UK after being lost to breeding in the UK for 400 years.
His work included time in Germany arranging the movement of the cranes to the Somerset Levels as well as their release.
Proudly presented by Brent Birders at 7:30 pm in the main hall at the Old School Community Centre.
All Welcome; Refreshments available.
