Brent Island Trust Christmas Stall Brent Island Trust will be holding their traditional Christmas stall outside South Brent Stores between 10am and 12 noon. Town Crier John Gaskin will be in attendance, as will a Scottish piper in full regalia. There’ll be all the usual money-raisers, including tombola, cake stall, music and carol singing. Donations of cakes and tombola prizes very welcome, either on the morning or beforehand – please telephone 01364 72275. Volunteer carol singers also needed – just turn up on the day. Do come along and support the Trust’s main fund-raising event of the year. The trust cares for a three acre area of meadow and woodland, surrounded by the River Avon and bought through a public appeal in 1994.
