·                The seventh Outdoor 'Wild Swim' from Totnes to Dittisham - a fantastic 10km swim down the Dart from Longmarsh Green at the end of Steamer Quay Road, Totnes to the Ham in Dittisham. It's not a race, and as well as very fast and elite swimmers, it includes some new to wild swimming and disabled swimmers. After an initial briefing, around 850 swimmers per day will be started in waves at approx 8.30-9.15 am on Saturday and 9.05- 9.50am on Sunday, in colour coded groups (yellow – leisurely (35-40 mins/mile); red – medium (30-35 mins/mile); white – fast (25-30 mins/mile); blue – elite (less than 25 mins/mile) flanked by qualified lifeguards throughout the swim. There are food stalls at both ends with entertainment and at the Ham in Dittisham there will be a mini-festival feel with local food, nature workshops, a storyteller and Ukelele band.
