Thursday 12, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May 2016: SBADS present 'Contrasts: Three comedies with a twist' in South Brent Village Hall at 7.30pm (bar opens at 7.00).
- 'The Long Voyage Home' by Eugene O'Neill. Written in 1917, depicting a story of shipmates of the tramp steamer 'Glencairn' as they arrive, freshly paid, in a seamy waterfront bar.
- 'How he lied to her husband' by George Bernard Shaw. Written in 1904, unfolding events surrounding a woman, her lover and her husband.
- 'The Dumb Waiter' by Harold Pinter. Written in 1957 and set in a basement as two men are getting ready for a job.
