As part of SSB's Bike Bank Project free places are offered for people who want to learn more about cycle maintenance and enable volunteers to gain cycle maintenance training in return for a small contribution of their time.
The afternoon workshop will be delivered at 'Ride on', the bike recycling charity based in Exeter (transport can be arranged) by Sam White (Dr Bike), the South Brent Bike Bank Project Worker.
The workshop will benefit both newcomers and those who've already been on a previous session and will cover the most used elements (brakes and gears) and perhaps throw in something new (hub service anyone!?)
The first workshop was very highly valued by the participants.
To book a place, or for more information, or if you would like to register with the bike bank, contact Sam White, on 07745 860157 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or access SSB website.
The Bike Bank project was initiated by Sustainable South Brent and is grateful for the support of the 'Awards for All' scheme and the South Brent Community Benefit Fund.
