Felt Making Course in South Brent with Anna Brindley on Tuesdays 23 February to 22 March 2016: from 10am until 12.30pm at the Old School Centre, South Brent.

Create unique textiles from wool and silk fibres and silk fabric using the wet felt-making technique - 'Slow magic in action'.

A series of workshops designed to lead you on a path of fibre magic - each week a new technique will be demonstrated.

Focus on fleece from Dartmoor sheep - natural colours and lots of texture, as well as making 3D pieces by using the seamless wet felting technique.

·      Week 1   (23 February) - using natural coloured rare breed wool fleece, felting around objects (perhaps make a paperweight, or doorstop) NB. bring your own smooth stone

Gorgeous fibres will be available at cost. Expect to spend about £5-£10, depending on what you make.

Cost: £45 for 5 sessions, or drop-in £10 per session.

Limited places left, so booking is essential –'Early Bird' discount of £40 for 5 sessions available until 2nd February; the group will be for a maximum of 7 spaces to ensure plenty of space and attention.
