·            Food support for South Brent & Rattery: The Buckfastleigh Food Bank covers the areas of South Brent and Rattery. The foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust run by local people for local people and relies on the community’s support to ensure they can continue to help people who are going hungry. To support the vital work of the foodbank please:

1.        Donate Food – most needed: long-life milk, fruit juice, tinned fish, meat and fruit, pasta sauce and gluten-free products. Please leave in the Foodbank box in South Brent Co-op.

Printmaking Classes at The Art House South Brent, in the Old School Community Centre tutored by Louise Scammell who taught printmaking at Dartington Print Workshop for

14 years. Printmaking is on of the most absorbing and fascinating visual arts. The studio is light, airy and well equipped with a ‘state of the art’ Hale M80 press and two Rollaco

presses, and has a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Summer 6-8 week terms:

-  £260 day class Mondays- 8 weeks

-  £170 evening class Tuesdays- 8 weeks

-  £260 ‘New to printmaking’ class – Wednesday - 8 week blocks – 10am-3pm

-  £195 day class – Thursdays - 6 week block – 10am-3pm

·            Wednesday 6 – Saturday 16 July 2022:

Put Shakespeare together with a forest and anything can happen! Summer sees a return to outside performance for Dartington Playgoers, with a brilliant version of ‘As You Like It’,

which has been adapted by the director, Patrick Cooper. This will be an ensemble, semi gender-blind company with 10 – 15 performers. The outdoor production will be

complemented by marvellous music and song and will be performed in various venues including our beloved Dartington:

-       Wednesday 6 – Saturday 9 July: 7pm in Dartington Hollow, nr Studio 31

-       Sunday 10 July: at 2.30pm in St Mary's Church Totnes

-       Friday 15 / Saturday 16 July at 7pm in Follaton House Gardens
