British Red Cross in Plymouth make up ‘Welcome boxes’ - food needed includes: Basmati Rice; tinned tomatoes; red kidney and butter beans; oil; potatoes; onions; salt and spices.
Also needed are:
Sanitary towels; Toothbrushes; Toothpaste; Deodorants; Body wash; Towels; Tissues; Hand cream; Women’s winter boots (sizes 6/7/8/9) Gloves and hats; Scarves for both men and women; Body lotion; Baby toiletries; Children small toys; Note pads; Snacks (items in bold are the most important)
Clothing can be taken to ‘Laurel Bank’ on Totnes Road from where it is collected weekly to for the British Red Cross in Plymouth. (esp. warm clothing and winter boots for both women and men) Please call Caroline first on 0792 6078189.
