- The Old School Community Centre: The Trustees have reluctantly taken the decision to close the centre to the public until the end of April in the first instance. The closure will be reviewed and extended if necessary, in line with emerging advice. NB. for now at least, the Post Office will continue to open, but with reduced hours (10-12 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Remember you can use the Post Office to make cash withdrawals from, and payments to, most UK banks. Lloyds Bank twice weekly mobile branch service in the car park is now suspended until further notice. They plan to resume mobile branch services when it is safe to do so.
- All cafés, bars, pubs and restaurants have been required to close until further notice, as have nightclubs, theatres, cinemas, gyms and leisure centres.

· Coronavirus emergency – local responses: ‘South Brent Community Crisis Assistance’ is being established under the auspices of South Brent & District Caring with representation from various community groups, the church, SSB, village shops etc. to act as a single point of contact, to co-ordinate volunteers and offers of help and to signpost to resources in the current crisis.
