 Improve your skills with Computers and Smart Phones:

 Fortnightly sessions every other Thursday evening between 7pm and 9pm in the Beacon Room at the Old School Community Centre (to ensure a place, please tell us you are coming).

Thursday dates for the rest of 2017:

 7 & 21 September

5 & 19 October;

2, 16 & 30 November;

finishing on Thursday 14 December 2017.

Bring your computer, tablet, phone and problems, questions or just things to learn. Helpers circulate and when you’re stuck say things like "try this …" and "I don’t know either … let’s Google it". This gives people real confidence to try stuff out for themselves. We’ve been doing this for two years now … and it really works! So come along … to just one or a few sessions. Don’t miss this opportunity!

All abilities are welcomed - from complete beginners to experienced users. Free - donations welcome.

Devon and Cornwall Police have circulated the information below:

We have received a report from a business in Exeter that they have received an email which is a bogus ‘speeding fine’ email purporting to be from the Police.

 We do not know the intentions of this email but advise that they are deleted. Please pass this information on and put this information on notice boards.

 Please do not click on any part of the email and do not reply to the email. This email is fraudulent and may ask you to give your personal or financial information or attempt to infect your computer with malware.

 The bogus notification gives the recipient details of the speeding ‘offence’ such as when and where it occurred.

 If you have any concerns please phone 101.
